JESUS

Jesus is so wonderful and He loves us so much.  He so loved us that He was willing to lay down His life for us, to be nailed to the cross for our transgressions and iniquities, to wear the crown of thorns so that we could have peace in our minds, and was beaten with many stripes for our healing.  What a Savior!  What mighty Love!  He rose from the grave on the third day.  He rose victorious over sin, sickness and the second-death.  The devil was defeated and we are set free from the law of sin and death.  What love!!  What mercy!!  What grace!!  What a mighty God!!

REWARD

The Word of the Lord in our mouth and in our heart will be our reward in troublesome times.  Psalm 37:27-31 (Amplified) Depart from evil and do good, and you will dwell forever [securely].  For the Lord delights in justice and forsakes not His saints; they are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked [in time] shall be cut off. [Then] the [consistently] righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever.  The mouth of the [uncompromisingly] righteous utters wisdom and his tongue speaks with justice.  The law of God is in his heart, none of his steps shall slide.

MERCY AND TRUTH

The Lord our God is full of mercy and truth.  He is willing to forgive us.  Let us never forget His mighty love, care, and compassion for us. Psalm 86:5-7 (KJV) For, Thou Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy to all them that call upon Thee.  Give ear, O Lord, unto my prayer; and attend to the voice of my supplications. In the day of my trouble, I will call upon Thee; for Thou wilt answer me.

DON'T WORRY! PRAY!!!

Paul wrote in Philippians that we should rejoice in the Lord always and not worry about anything.  We should pray, but not worry.  We should keep a  notebook  so that we can write notes to ourselves. Why should I do that?  So you can remember to be thankful to God for all He does for you.  If you have a need, write that need down and then write the scripture that you are praying over that need.  When the answer to your prayer manifests, write “Thank You, Father for answering this prayer” and date it.  If you feel “depressed” READ YOUR NOTES!  Praise God.

LIVING IN PEACE

Living in peace is very important to most people.  Strife brings every evil work of the devil on the scene.  How do you live in peace in today’s world?  Jesus said that if we live in Him and His Words live in us, we can ask what we will and it will be done.  The first thing we must do is to understand that the presence and power of Jesus IS living in us.  Sometimes we fail to really consider that. We need to become conscious of the presence of Jesus in us.  That presence will give a sense of well being and peace as it becomes a part of our everyday lives.  God is so good and kind.  His grace is extended to us through Jesus.  Amazing, unending love is ours.  What a wonder and blessing that is.

LIFT UP YOUR HEAD

You may be thinking, I don’t know the scripture for my need.  Here are some scriptures for some needs: If you have lack in finances: “My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 4:19 KJV.  If you are sick: “...by whose stripes [the stipes of Jesus] you were healed”  I Peter 2:24 KJV.  If you feel alone: “...I will never leave you nor forsake you” Hebrews 13:5 KJV.  If you are depressed, lift up your hands to God and say,”You are the lifter of my head [thoughts] and the help of my countenance [my outlook]” There is no need that God has not already met, so let us look up, lift our hands up to God, receive His help and our answers today.

THE IMPOSSIBLE

If we are going to live our lives as obedient children of our Father, God, then we will have to live each day by faith.  You say, “Huh”.  If we are going to be obedient to God and His Word we will have to love the unlovable, pray for our enemies, go the second mile, speak peace to situations and not complain.  Oh, well!  I don’t know if I can do that.  You just don’t know who I have to put up with!  No, I don’t know, but God does and He gave the instructions.   How am I going to be able to do that?  BY FAITH in God’s willingness and ability to help you.  God tells us to do the impossible, then He helps us do it!  Isn’t God Good?  Yes, all the time!
