We have this hope before us: the reign on earth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

(Psalm 72:6-8 KJV)
He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. He shall have dominion from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.

May we continually have our hope and praise in God.

(Psalm 71:14-16 KJV)
But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.

When you pray you should have confidence that God will hear and answer your prayer. If you don’t believe He will hear your prayer, you feel hopeless. How can you know that God will answer your prayer? When you pray His Word (the Bible) He will hear you and answer you. He is not impressed with whining, crying, yelling, or nagging. He knows the situation that you face. He has already given the answer in the Bible. We must all learn to pray His Word, because that is what He hears. If we will learn that no Word of God is without the power of God to be performed, we will become confident that God will hear and answer our prayers.

How to live in God’s peace: Philippians 4:6-7 (Amp.)

Do not fret or have anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving continue to make your wants known to God. And God’s peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

As Christians we are to love one another in the body of Christ. What are we supposed to do when someone is hard to deal with and hard to bear? We are to be forgiving and kind. We are to live our lives with the love of God ruling in our actions, in our words, and in our ways. We have to always remember that Jesus forgave us, so we are to do the same. Jesus said if we walk in love with one another, the world will see that we are different from them. We are to be like Jesus in everything in our lives.

We are to give thanks in everything. You may say, "How can I give thanks when the car won’t start, the washing machine is broken, the children are fighting, there’s no money in the bank, and I have a headache?!" That is when you must know that you know, that God has the answers to all your problems. You must put your faith in His Word and believe that He is not only able, but He is also willing to move on your behalf. He can cause the car to start, the children to be at peace with one another, prosper you financially, and heal your body! God is our supply! Give Him praise and thanksgiving for being Almighty God!

May we all have ears to hear what the Lord is saying to us.

(Psalm 85:8-9 KJV)
I will hear what God, the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly. Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

Our God is our fortress and our deliverer. (Psalm 71:1-3 KJV)

In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me. Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

According to the scriptures, we are to rejoice always! You may say: I have nothing to rejoice about! Is God your Father? Is Jesus your Savior? Rejoice!! His love for you never fails. He has all the answers you need for life. He never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He hears you when you pray. His mercies are new every morning! All your needs are met by God through His riches in Christ Jesus. Reach out in faith, state your need and your questions, and then say what God says. My needs are met and my questions are answered and I receive them now in Jesus name!

The Bible says we are to pray about everything with all kinds of prayer. If there is a need for peace, that is the prayer we pray. There is the prayer of thanksgiving, of praise, of adoration, of petition on behalf of ourselves or someone else, and the prayer of confessing our sin and asking for forgiveness. When we pray we should always pray God’s Word concerning our need. He honors His word. If we will spend time in His presence praying His Word, we will have a sense of well-being as well as the answer to our prayer. God, our Father is good. His love surrounds us. His favor rests upon His children. In His presence we are surrounded with His loving kindness and tender mercy and peace. How marvelous is the time spent with Him!
